St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is located in Muskego, Wisconsin. In February of 2026, the construction for the expansion of the church was completed, adding a new space for their contemporary church services as well as a community space for all. Ascend had the incredible opportunity to be a part of the finishing touches within this new space.

The main ‘jewel’ of any church space is the illuminated cross. Our team designed a stunning piece, both internally and halo-illuminated, fabricated with authentic alabaster light boxes and vines made of solid, brushed bronze. Every piece is mounted to a lightweight aluminum cross-shaped frame.

Each wallcovering has a colorful background, that pulls from the interior palette. The 'Garage' space wallcovering displays a bible verse about courage. The 'Kids' wallcovering displays a basic biblical timeline.

The large overhead signs draw from the materials used within the space. The brushed stainless steel letters float over a strip of maple, while incorporating halo illumination.

There are two illuminated fireplace sculptures. One side depicts fire with the use of warm colors to represent aspects of the Christian faith. The opposite side of the fireplace conveys the theme of water, using ripple textures and layers of translucent cool colors.

The custom hospitality carts blend seamlessly with the interior, again, utilizing maple and stainless steel. They are designed to be mobile and allow for flexibility within the community space.
